The Kent Lions, assisted by Delta Gamma Sorority, will serve an all-you-can-eat breakfast of pancakes and sausage at the Kent Lions Club's 59th annual pancake breakfast to be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 2 in the cafeteria of Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent.
Doll furniture, made by Lion Don Brown, and the bedding and nightgown made by his wife, Marilyn Brown, will be raffled off during the event.
There will be free glaucoma testing and the Lions are accepting donations of old eyeglasses.
The Friendly Lion will be on hand to visit with the children. Proceeds from the pancake breakfast will fund the Kent Lions Club's sight projects.
Pre-sale tickets are available for adults at $5, or $6 at the door. Tickets for children 10 years and under are $2.
To purchase tickets, see any Lions Club member or call Wayne Wilson at 330-673-0769 or 330-678-8032.
