ABLE program can provide GED tests

Published:

The Adult Basic & Literacy Education Program at Maplewood Career Center in Ravenna now has the 2014 GED.

The new GED is computer-based and taken at a local center. There are four sections to the new test: Math, language, science, and social studies. Also, there is an option to take one segment of the GED test at a time or there is a voucher available for first-time GED test-takers.

During the four-day orientation, participants will register for the program, learn about the services, and set goals for their future educational and career opportunities. Classes and materials are free of charge.

ABLE at Maplewood Career Center has various class locations and times throughout Portage County. For more information, call 330-235-0020.
