Fifth-graders plan biographical tea

Published:

The fifth-graders of Falcon Academy of Creative Arts will hold a biographical tea from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday in the gymnasium area of the academy, 1473 Saxe Road in Brimfield.

This "tea" will be a gathering to invite family and friends to meet the characters that the fifth-grade students have read about in the month of February.

The students will be dressed as the character and they will use their acting skills as they pretend to be the person they read about.

Audience members will ask questions to try to identify the character. This is a culminating project that connects Language Arts Standards with Social Studies Standards and the arts as well.

Students involved are from the classes of Diana Horning and Katelyn Koppelberger. Refreshments will be provided by the Falcon Academy Parent Teacher Association and the parents of the students involved.
