Key Club to host pancake breakfast

Published:

A tradition of six years continues when Key Club members from Theodore Roosevelt High School in Kent will sponsor the Easter Bunny Pancake Breakfast from 8 to 11 a.m. Saturday.

Members will prepare and serve a choice of three pancakes (regular, blueberry and chocolate chip), sausage, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee and tea in the high school cafeteria. The spring event benefits local charities.

The cost is $5 per adult, $4 per student to age 12 and senior citizens, and free to children 3 and younger.

The fundraiser is open to the public and will feature a visit with the Easter bunny.

Youngsters may participate in a coloring contest while others attending are encouraged to engage in a basket silent auction featuring donations contributed by local businesses.

Key Club is sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of Kent.
