Easter egg hunt set Saturday at stable

Sand Hill Stable's second annual Easter egg hunt will be held Saturday at 4311 S.R. 303 in Shalersville.

Registratrion will be held at 12:30 p.m. with the hunt for plastic eggs beginning promptly at 1 p.m.

Children will be divided into three groups: ages 1 to 3, 4 to 6, and 7 to 10.

The event will include games, pony rides, a horsemanship demonstration, candy, prizes, beverages and healthful horse-related snacks (based on oats, carrots and apples).

Costs are $7 per family, and $5 per pony ride. The Easter Bunny may be hopping by for photos.

Kids shouldn't dress up (stables are dusty), but should bring a camera and a container for collecting the eggs and treats.
