The speaker for the Saturday meeting of the Old Northwest-Aaron Olmstead Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution has changed.
Mindy Gusz, manager of Robinson Memorial Hospital's Health Education Center, will talk about women's health issues.
Gusz is responsible for Inpatient Education and Community Education Services. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. at the Kent Free Library, 312 W. Main St.
Tom Monroe, a Vietnam veteran from Mantua who had sent thousands of paperback books to troops overseas, was the scheduled speaker for the April meeting.
During the past year, members had been collecting books to donate to Monroe's project. Monroe died last month, but the members still plan to send their books to the troops in his honor.
Record-Courier Editor Roger Di Paolo will present a topic on local history at the May 17 program. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. at the Kent Free Library.
