"Planting the Seeds of Hope," the 12th annual Blooming Brunch fundraiser sponsored by The GriefCare Place, will be held May 3 at the Silver Lake Country Club.
The event will feature a well-known presenter and author from Northeastern Ohio, a fashion show, silent auction, a Treasure Chest raffle, and a vocal piece by Carla Davis and her son, Jason Davis. Doors open at 10:45 a.m.
The keynote address will be presented by Katherine Miracle, the founder and owner of Miracle Resources LLC, a consulting, training, and educational resource for businesses and nonprofits.
The fashion show will feature attire from "Clothes Mentor," and will be presented by Denise Hardie, with models from different GriefCare Place groups. The silent auction is open for bids from 10:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
Tickets are $50 per person ($25 tax deductible). "Circle of Hope" Table Sponsor ($500) includes eight tickets and recognition at the brunch; "Spirit of Hope" sponsorship ($250) includes two tickets and recognition at the brunch; "Seeds of Hope" sponsorship ($100) includes one ticket and recognition at the brunch.
The "Miracle of Hope" sponsorship ($2,500) and the "Vision of Hope" sponsorship ($1,000), though filled, can always be added to.

The GriefCare Place's mission is to provide a safe place where grievers gather, under the guidance of a facilitator, to educate, encourage, and uplift each other throughout the healing journey after the death of a loved one.
