Ravenna sixth-graders 'weave' pinwheels

Published:

April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. Brown Middle School teacher Rosanne Gee and her sixth-grade students wove pinwheels on the fence along S.R. 59 in front of Brown Middle School in Ravenna as a reminder to all, that each of us needs to "Be a Voice for Children" and to report suspected abuse. The pinwheel serves as the national symbol for child abuse prevention.
