The Portage County Genealogical Society will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Portage County Historical Society Museum meeting room, 6549 N. Chestnut St., Ravenna.
Roger Marble of the state genealogy society will be conducting a panel discussion about how to conduct research at the novice, intermediate, and advanced levels. For those starting out in genealogy or for those who believe they have exhausted resources, this is a "must event" to attend, according to Wayne Enders, historian. The meeting and program are open to the public. Refreshments will be served. For more information, call Enders at 330-310-7421.
