Cassidy Lowden of Kent has been appointed a 2014-15 Student Fellow by the Baldwin Wallace University Center for Innovation and Growth in Berea.
As a BW CIG Fellow, Lowden, a sophomore political science major and Field High School graduate, will spend the upcoming academic year exploring innovation, entrepreneurship, and values-based leadership.
In order to be considered for the CIG Student Fellows or CIG Student Athlete Fellows programs, students are nominated by BW faculty.
Selected students come from a broad array of academic backgrounds, with 18 majors represented in the 2014-15 group.
CIG Student Fellows have the opportunity to meet global and local leaders in innovation, to work on projects that will give them first-hand experience with innovation, and to explore concepts of innovation and entrepreneurship with other CIG Student and Faculty Fellows.
