Published:

Pilar Farnsworth will present a lesson on the origins and philosophy of Tao Te Ching at 7 p.m. Monday at the Kent Free Library, 312 W. Main St. Farnsworth will then lead attendees through standing Qi Gong Form. Qi Gong is an ancient spiritual healing practice more than 6,000 years old.

Participants should wear loose clothing and flat shoes that won't restrict their movements as they practice Qi Gong. No registration is required for this free program, but space is limited. Attendants should pick up an event pass at the second floor Information Desk up to a half hour before the program to ensure a seat.
