The Adult Basic & Literacy Education Program at Maplewood Career Center in Ravenna would like everyone to know that GED 2014 is available.

The new GED is computer-based. There are four sections to the new test which includes math, language, science, and social studies.

There is also an option to take one segment of the GED test at a time. There is a voucher available and the total cost of GED 2014 is $40. The cost is $120 without the voucher.

Those interested may further their education by registering for a four-day orientation.

At the orientation, attendees will register for the ABLE program, learn about its services, and set goals for their future educational and career opportunities.

ABLE classes and materials are free-of-charge.

The ABLE program has various class locations and times throughout Portage County to fit schedules in the morning, afternoon or evening.
