Programs offered at Reed Memorial Library

Reed Memorial Library in Ravenna has many programs available for the remainder of April.

call 330-296-2827, ext. 200.Teen Craft Night will be held at 6 p.m. April 25 for teens in grades six through12.

The library will provide a number of supplies and inspiration ideas and allow teens the freedom to create crafts for themselves to keep or gift to friends. Coloring sheets also will be provided.

The library's new writers' group meets at 1:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month.

This group is open to all writers and authors looking to learn new skills and have their work critiqued.

The Knit, Crochet, and Needlecraft Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. April 24. Those attending should bring their current projects, questions, and stories to share. Spare materials will be available to use for practice.

Adults may visit the library at 6:30 p.m. April 26 at 6:30 p.m. to see a recently released movie.

Reed Memorial Library's Guiding Ohio Online AmeriCorps member will be presenting an introductory class about Facebook at 2 p.m. April 27.

Participants will become familiar with Facebook during this class and learn how to create an account and use the basic features of this popular social media tool.

Basic mouse and keyboard skills are required. Registration is required and space is limited. To register, call 330-296-2827, ext. 200.

The library will be celebrating International Tabletop Day 2017 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 29.

To celebrate this day, the library will be offering a free Settlers of Catan tournament, Dungeons & Dragons sessions and other table top games. Participants are free to bring a friend to play along, or join other groups.

This program is free and open to all ages and experience playing tabletop games.
