This is the 10th year the fourth-graders at St. Patrick School in Kent have presented their Live Museum, but the first for portraying famous people from Ohio.
"Live Ohio" was presented for family members, students and staff of St. Patrick School and members of St. Patrick parish.
The fourth-grade students, led by teachers Elaine Goodhart and Karin Underwood, began working on this project in January.
The students first chose their famous person and then wrote their biography.
They then memorized a speech about the person.
For the Live Museum, each student created a tri-fold of quotes about their person and dressed up in character as their chosen person.
They were "frozen in time" in the museum until someone pulled their string.
Then they would "come to life" and give their speech, before becoming "frozen" again.
