Published: June 19, 2017 4:00 AM

The following Summer Reading programs will be taking place at the Aurora Memorial Library. These weekly programs take place on Tuesdays starting at 1:30 p.m. with the exception of the July 5 program, which will be held on Wednesday due to the holiday.

Along with these programs for children who have finished kindergarten through fifth grade, the library encourages all participants to take the summer reading challenge of reading at least 15 minutes each day.

June 20: Christine Kallevig, storyteller and origami artist, will present "Build with Paper" and teach a simple folding project to kids.

June 27: Local author Tricia Springstubb will speak and sign her children's chapter books, which will be for sale.

July 5: David Anthony will dazzle with an amazing magic show.

July 11: Jungle Terry will bring his animal friends to share an interesting and kid-pleasing show.
