Looking for something fun to do? The Kent Heritage Festival is today in downtown Kent. Take the family and enjoy the many festivities and fun things to do.

Vendors are needed for the annual "Community Outreach Day" at Upper Room Ministries, which will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 2. The location will be on the church grounds located at 3090 S.R. 59, Ravenna. This is an outdoor event so if you have a tent, bring it for shade, as no tents will be provided.

There will be vendors of various items such as: bakery items, jewelry, collectibles, small household items and others. Each vendor area includes a six-foot table and two chairs in a 10-by-10-foot space for a small fee of only $20. For additional space, tables or chairs, or to reserve a spot, call Mrs. Austin at 330-296-2178 during church regular business hours, which are on Tuesdays or Thursdays between 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. or Wednesdays from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Registration to reserve a space must be made no later than Aug. 4, but the earlier the better.
