However, daytime temperatures should warm into the 70s most places, the National Weather Service said today.

Some drought stricken areas of the state got a good soaking during Wednesday's storms. From Akron to Youngstown, more than 2 inches were measured. Many other areas reported 1 inch or more.

The record-high temperature for this date at the Columbus weather

station was 92 degrees in 1953 while the record low was 31 in 1963.

Sunset tonight will be at 7:16 p.m. and sunrise Friday at 7:27

a.m.
