The story for Tuesday will be more showers and thunderstorms likely over the northwest and west central areas of Ohio for much of the day. Scattered afternoon showers and thunderstorms can be expected for the rest of the state. Highs on Tuesday will range from the middle 70s over the north to the middle 80s in the south.

The record high temperature for this date at the Columbus weather station was 98 set in 1944. The low was 48 in 1967. Sunset today will be at 8:34 p.m. Sunrise Tuesday will be at 6:40 a.m.
