It will be cooler, with lows dropping into the upper 40s in east central Ohio and into the lower 60s in the far south.

Dry and pleasant conditions are expected Tuesday. Highs will be in the lower 70s in the northeast to the lower 80s in the south.

The record high temperature for this date at the Columbus weather station was 96 in 1940. The record low was 48 set in 1962.
