Rain likely on Wednesday

Gusting winds and cooler will follow passage of the front. Highs on Wednesday will be in the upper 60s. Showers may linger in the northeast.

The cooling trend will continue on Thursday, with highs again in the 60s, the National Weather Service said.

The record-high temperature for this date at the Columbus weather

station was 100 degrees in 1953 while the record low was 43 in 1967.

Sunset tonight will be at 8:03 p.m. and sunrise Wednesday at 7:01

a.m.
