Temps to remain abnormally high through week

Associated Press Published:

Highs mostly will be in the low 80s. That's 10-15 degress above normal for this time of year.

The warm conditions are the result of a stationary high pressure system that's situated over the eastern United States and is pumping southwesterly air into Ohio

Overnight lows will be 55-60.

The record-high temperature for this date at the Columbus weather

station was 88 degrees in 1941 while the record low was 29 in 1952.

Sunset tonight will be at 7:04 p.m. and sunrise Wednesday at 7:35

a.m.
