Lows will be in the mid-40s to low 50s.

The rains are expected to be heaviest across the southern third of the state, forecasters said. Measurements could be an inch by Saturday morning.

Lighter amounts are expected across the rest of the state, with only .10 to .50 of an inch likely.

More rain is expected on Saturday. Highs will be in the mid-50s to low 60s.

The record-high temperature for this date at the Columbus weather

station was 82 degrees in 1963 while the record low was 21 in 1981.

Sunset tonight will be at 6:39 p.m. and sunrise Saturday at 7:53 a.m.
