The National Weather Service said up to an inch of snow is likely across the state. Temperatures will dip to around 30 degrees, forecasters said.

Snow showers are possible the northern and central parts of the state on Tuesday. Elsewhere, skies will be cloudy. Highs will be 40-45.

The record-high temperature for this date at the Columbus weather station was 80 degrees in 1987 while the record low was 20 in 1991. Sunset tonight will be at 5:27 p.m. and sunrise Tuesday at 7:04 a.m.
