But the front is expected to stall across the north, which will keep most of the precipitation as rain. Snow mixed with rain is likely in the northwest.
Temperatures will climb to the lower 40s on Friday. But rain is expected to turn to snow Saturday when the front drops down over the state.
The mercury will drop in the 30s on Sunday and those temperatures will continue into at least Tuesday. Lows will be in the 20s.
