By The Associated Press Published:

A warming trend will continue on Wednesday with highs in the 50s many places.

But precipitation will spread across the state Wednesday ahead of a cold front that will bring somewhat cooler temperatures for Thanksgiving Day.

Forecasters said the holiday will be dry with temperatures in the 40s.

The record-high temperature for this date at the Columbus weather station was 68 degrees in 1908 while the record low was 5 in 1950. Sunset tonight will be at 5:09 p.m. and sunrise Wednesday at 7:29 a.m.
