High temperatures will range from 45 in the north to 55 in the south.

The threat of precipitation will return on Friday as another frontal system develops in the Plains.

Mild temperatures are expected to continue through the weekend.

The record-high temperature for this date at the Columbus weather station was 70 degrees in 1896 while the record low was 7 in 1950. Sunset tonight will be at 5:09 p.m. and sunrise Thursday at 7:30 a.m.
