Deck poured on new Kent pedestrian bridge

Workers poured the deck for the new Crain Avenue pedestrian and utility bridge in Kent Friday. The bridge, located at the site of the demolished Crain Avenue Bridge, runs parallel to the new Fairchild Avenue Bridge. The city constructed the pedestrian bridge to accommodate existing utility lines that would have been expensive to relocate.
