Author Samar Nouri of Ravenna will hold a book signing from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Village Book Store, 8140 Main Street, Garrettsville.
Nouri is the author of "Syria and Summer," the story of how she and her four children escaped Syria to come to Ohio. Years later, her eldest daughter was killed in a murder-suicide in Akron.
