Two Portage County residents are free on bond following their arrest by Portage County Drug Task Force agents for allegedly selling the painkiller morphine.
James W. Manges, 34, of 2292 McClintocksburg Road, Deerfield, and Angie M. Roosa, 34, of 310 E. Main St., Ravenna, were arrested Dec. 7 and charged with one count each of trafficking in drugs, both fourth-degree felonies.
Manges and Roosa allegedly sold the painkiller morphine to undercover drug task force agents in Ravenna on Dec. 7.
Arraigned in Portage County Municipal Court in Ravenna, each paid a $500 bond and were released from the Portage County jail pending future court dates. Additional charges may be filed once evidence is presented to a Portage County grand jury.
The Portage County Task Force is comprised of officers from the Aurora, Garrettsville, Kent, Streetsboro, and Windham police departments, the Portage County Sheriff's Office and the Portage County Prosecutor's Office.
