Traffic on Locke Lane in Kent reduced to one lane

The city of Kent reduced the traffic pattern on Locke Lane between South Water Street and DePeyster Street to one lane, eastbound only Friday.

All traffic on the lane, formerly known as Alley No. 5, must now enter at South Water Street and Exit at South DePeyster Street. The city has installed one way signage at the site.

Kent City Council re-named Alley No. 5 this fall in honor of Gary Locke, the city's longtime community development director who died in September.
