The Falcon Academy of Creative Arts has elected new board officers for 2013.
Shirley Mars will serve as board president. Other officers will be Andrea Shearer, vice president; James Conroy, treasurer pro tempore; and Dr. Frank Susi, legislative liaison.
For the 2013-14 school year the Governing Board will meet Feb. 6, March 13, April 3, May 8, June 5, July 3, Aug. 7, Sept. 4 -- all 6 p.m. meetings in the Art Room of the Academy unless otherwise posted.
Meetings at 7 p.m. will be on Oct. 2 and Nov. 6. Meetings at 6 p.m. will resume on Dec. 4 and Jan. 8, 2014.
