Crestwood board gets update on superintendent search

Published:

The Crestwood Board of Education met in special session Thursday with the company hired to find a replacement for Superintendent Joe Iacano, who is retiring.

The board met with Finding Leaders, the Cuyahoga County firm the board hired for the search to discuss what the district is looking for in a new superintendent.

Jill Rowe, district treasurer, said the board is hoping to have a new superintendent chosen by late April "if everything goes well."

Crestwood serves approximately 2,025 students in grades K-12 from Mantua Village, Hiram Village and Shalersville, Hiram, and Mantua townships in northern Portage County.
