The United Way of Portage County's 211 Portage information and referral program is now available online.
Local residents with internet access can go to www.211portage.org to access an online resource to search thousands of local programs.
The United Way said the service will allow residents to search for multiple sources by entering a zip code and category of service requested.
Residents without Internet access can still call 211 anytime day or night to inquire about available health and human service programs.
