High winds cut power in Ravenna

Crews from Ohio Edison repair fallen power lines in the area around West Locust Lane and North Cherry Way in Downtown Ravenna on Sunday morning. Three poles were believed to have been toppled by winds that came through downtown Ravenna at about 5:30 a.m. Sunday. FirstEnergy's website stated that about 37 customers were still without power about 12 hours later as crews continued to address the problem. There also were scattered power outages in Streetsboro, Deerfield and Paris.
