Clyde named to Ohio House committees

State Rep. Kathleen Clyde (D-Kent) has been appointed as the ranking member of the Ohio House of Representatives committee on State and Local Government. She was also named to the powerful Finance and Appropriations Committee, the Agriculture and Natural Resources Committee and the Policy and Legislative Oversight Committee. In addition, she will serve on the Finance and Appropriations Subcommittee on Higher Education.

"I am very honored to be selected for these key committee positions," Clyde said. "These committee assignments will allow me to continue working on issues that are critical to Portage County ­-- creating stronger communities, advancing higher education, and promoting our agricultural economy."

Rep. Clyde represents the 75th Ohio House District, serving Kent, Ravenna, Streetsboro, Central and Southern Portage County.
