Brimfield experiencing problems with 911 service

The Brimfield Police Department is reporting some issues with 911 service. Dialing 911 from a cell phones will connect a caller with emergency services, but according to Police Chief David Oliver, dialing 911 from a land line may not work.

Callers in need of assistance may call the department's communications center at 330-677-1234. Police wil update when the phone issues are resolved, he said.

Other police agencies in northeast Ohio are reporting similar problems.
