Internet, some phones down in Crestwood schools

Published:

A cut fiberoptic line serving the Crestwood Local School District has resulted in phone and Internet service being down at some places within the district Friday.

Superintendent Joe Iacano said parents were contacted by phone about the problem with a message encouraging them to call the old numbers for each building.

Time Warner was fixing the problem, and service was expected to be restored by evening. Emails sent in the interim have not been lost, but will not be delivered until the line is fixed.
