Sierra Club, Ohio college students, to host discussions on climate change

Published:

With the help of the Sierra Club, students at three Ohio schools, including Hiram College, Ohio State University and Case Western University, are launching a climate change college tour featuring town halls and conversations to urge President Obama to do more to tackle the threat of climate disruption.

Hiram College professors and community activists will screen a documentary film about carbon pollution and clean energy solutions, called Carbon Nation, followed by conversations between community members, students, and professors. The event will take place from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hiram College's Gerstacker Hall, Room 123, at the corner of Bancroft and Dean streets.
