Portage County sees snow on second day of spring

Mantua Service Department worker Anthony Fiorillo loads a salt truck driven by Tom Bowersox Friday. It may be spring, but northeast Ohioans sure can't tell from the weather. Snow fell much of the day Thursday, overnight and into Friday, leaving anywhere from a dusting to a few inches. Partly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid- to upper-30s are on tap for the weekend, with more snow forecast for part of next week, which is spring break for most Portage County schools and Kent State University.
