St. Pet's Day in Kent rescheduled tomorrow

Record-Courier Staff Report Published:

The rescheduled St. Pet's Day, sponsored by the Celtic Club, will start at 1 p.m. Saturday at Fred Fuller Park in Kent.

The event, a drive to collect pet food for area shelters, was initially scheduled in March, but weather forced it to be postponed.

It will now be called the St. Pet's Day Crooked River Pet Walk. Participants and their pets will walk along the Cuyahoga River pathway from Fred Fuller Park to Tannery Park and back.

The Celtic Club is seeking donations of dry dog and cat food and cat litter for humane and pet rescue groups.
