Pink Ribbon Classic Charity Horse Show continues in Ravenna Saturday and Sunday

The Pink Ribbon Classic Charity Horse Show opened Friday at Sunbeau Valley Farm in Ravenna. The show is sponsored by the Tri-State American Saddle Horse Breeders Futurity, and raises money for several cancer organizations. At left, Larry Smith of Cuyahoga Falls competes in the Open Pleasure Driving Event. The event continues at 9 a.m. today, with an afternoon session at 1 p.m. and an evening session at 6 p.m. On Sunday, the event begins at 10 a.m. with an afternoon session at 1 p.m. Today is the "Black Tie and Pink Ribbons Night," featuring a special class for challenged riders, the Calcutta class, the Survivor Cup Championship and all the Pink Ribbon classes.
