U.S. 224 between S.R. 43 and Congress Lake Road in Suffield is closed through Monday for a culvert replacement.
According to the Ohio Department of Transportation, the road is anticipated to reopen at 5 p.m. on Monday
The official detour is S.R. 43 to I-76 to S.R. 44.
Road work continues elsewhere on U.S. 224:
n U.S. 224 between the Summit County line and S.R. 183 in Atwater has various lane restrictions through mid-October for pavement repairs.
n U.S. 224 between Hartville Road and S.R. 44 in Randolph is reduced to one lane with traffic maintained via a traffic signal through late October for a bridge replacement.
This work is part of a $5.7 million project to resurface U.S. 224 from the Summit County line to S.R. 183.
The entire project is scheduled to be completed by November, according to ODOT.
