UPDATE: Missing Tallmadge mother Wendy Ralston, 31, and her 5-year-old son Peyton have been identified as the bodies found Saturday, according to Tallmadge Police. No cause of death is yet known, and no one has been charged in the deaths.
The live-in boyfriend has been named a person of interest because he lives in the home, near which the bodies were found.
The decomposed remains of two individuals discovered Saturday morning in the 500 block of Stone Creek Drive in Tallmadge had not yet been identified Monday evening, nor had a cause of death been determined, according to Tallmadge Police Lt. Ron Williams.
Williams said an investigation is being conducted by Tallmadge detectives.
On Monday afternoon, investigators with the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation could be seen outside the home. A vehicle was seen being towed from the garage.
On Aug. 7, Williams said Wendy Ralston, 31, and her 5-year-old son were reported missing. There is a Wendy Ralston listed in the white pages as living on Stone Creek Drive.
Police will make no further statement until after the remains have been identified and a cause of death has been determined, he said.
The Summit County Medical Examiner's Office planned autopsies Monday to help determine who they were and how they died.
A medical examiner spokesman Monday afternoon was unable to confirm if a report on the deaths had been released.
