A section of U.S. 224 in Suffield between S.R. 43 and Congress Lake Road has reopened, according to the Ohio Department of Transportation.
The section was closed for several days for culvert replacement. Other parts of U.S. 224 have various lane restrictions for road work.
U.S. 224 between the Summit County line and S.R. 183 has various lane restrictions through mid-October for pavement repairs.
U.S. 224 between Hartville Road and S.R. 44 is reduced to one lane with traffic maintained via a traffic signal through late October for a bridge replacement.
This work is part of a $5.7 million project to resurface U.S. 224 from the Summit County line to S.R. 183. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by November.
