Haasz expands in Dalton

R-C Staff Report Published:

Haasz Automall in Ravenna has expanded to a new market in Dalton with its purchase of the GG Grim company. The dealership, at the corner of S.R. 30 and S.R. 94, is now "Haasz Automall of Dalton.

Most of the sales and service staff and management were retained. Gene Grim, the previous owner, will stay on as a driver.

"We are very excited about the opportunity in Dalton," said Owner Kevin Haasz. "I think the store is in an excellent location with great access from many metro areas."

Haasz opened in 2007. Since then the company has grown from selling 20 to 30 cars each month to now selling about 200 cars monthly. It donates to schools and charities and is part of the Southern Portage Relay for Life, a fund raiser for the American Cancer Society.

"Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge and RAM have the best products out right now," Haasz said. "In addition, we have several buyers out purchasing pre-owned vehicles all over the country. We have managed to bring the highest quality, low-mile vehicles to the market. Our goal is to have the highest standard of service in the area."
