Portage TEA Party to mark Constitution anniversary

Published:

The Portage County TEA Party will hold a public reading of the United States Constitution, in honor of Constitution Day, at its monthly meeting Tuesday.

The meeting will be held at the Maplewood Career Center, 7075 S.R. 88 in Ravenna, starting at 7 p.m. The meeting is open to the public and refreshments will be served.

"It is amazing how many natural born Americans have never read the United States Constitution, one of the most important documents ever written," said Executive Director Tom Zawistowski.

Tuesday is the 226th anniversary of the adoption of the Constitution in 1787.
