No injuries in bus fire on I-76

A bus carrying football fans to a game in Austintown caught fire on I-76 in Rootstown early Friday evening, but nobody was injured.

The Ravenna post of the Ohio Highway Patrol reported that the incident took place at the 35-mile marker, between expressway exits in Brimfield and Rootstown. A dispatcher with the patrol said engine trouble on the bus caused the fire, and there were only seven passengers, all unhurt.

Newsnet 5 reported that a group of fans from Washington High School in Massillon were on their way to watch the Tigers play Austintown Fitch High School in Mahoning County.
