record-courier Staff Report Published:

In collaboration with the Drug Enforcement Agency, Robinson Memorial Hospital in Ravenna is providing a one-day opportunity for the public to safely dispose of expired, unwanted or unused prescription drugs and other medications from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Oct. 26 in the Robinson Medical Arts Building parking lot.

This program is anonymous and all medications will be accepted.

No confidential questions or information will be taken.

In addition to medications, Robinson Memorial also is offering recycling of paper products as part of the "Take Back" event, courtesy of Neoshred. All paper products including books, cardboard, coated paper and more will be accepted.

The Medication Take-Back event helps prevent the misuse and abuse of over-the-counter and prescription drugs with proper disposal; keeps hazardous chemicals from our water supply and wildlife, while helping protect children and family members from accidental consumption.
