A Time Warner Cable van collided with a box truck in Ravenna Township near the intersection of S.R. 5 and S.R. 14 at about 11 a.m. Tuesday, causing the van to flip and requiring a LifeFlight transport to an area hospital for the van's operator. Capt. Heather Sweitzer of the Ravenna Township Fire Department said it appeared that the box truck was turning onto the S.R. 5 entrance ramp, the van, which was travelling behind the truck, swerved around the van, ripping its door off on the truck's bumper and flipping in the process.

The name of the victim and the hospital they were transported to were not released. Ravenna Fire Department, Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Portage County Sheriff's Office provided mutual aid to Ravenna Township Fire Department.

Before you pass judgement maybe you should know the facts and take into account that the persons family/friends might be reading this ...so lets be a little more compassionate!
