Haymaker Farmers' Market will host its 6th annual Holiday Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at the United Methodist Church of Kent, 1435 E. Main St.
Taking part will be 40 vendors offering a variety of local foods as well as handmade gift items such as upcycled bags, mittens, slippers, kids' clothing and toys, ornaments, jewelry, treats for dogs and cats, bath and beauty products, candles, bee habitats and holiday decorations.
Also participating are three OEFFA-certified organic farms that grow produce for the market year-round as well as vendors offering baked goods (including traditional, vegan, gluten free); goat, sheep, and cow milk cheeses; maple syrup and maple products; honey and honey products; herb vinegars and oils, jams and jellies; dried herbs; preserves; salsa, dip and baking mixes; locally roasted coffee and beans; hot and cold prepared foods including local meats, eggs and cheese, and vegetarian and vegan, pastured meats and eggs; organic dry beans, corn meal, polenta, whole wheat flour, wheat berries; soaps and lotions, candles and dog treats.
Singer-songwriter Dale Galgozy will perform at 11:15 a.m.
The Holiday Market will continue from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dec. 21 at the same location.
